It All Began in 1976

Robin has always been a self-taught artist. She loved creating macramé on the beach in Hawaii when she was 19, selling to tourists to pay for her room to rent on Luakini St. She fell deeply in love with the beauty on Maui at a young age.

When Robin moved back to Maui, after spending years in Aspen Colorado with her husband, Larry, raising their three children, her creativity was lit on fire. In 2008 she started experimenting with acrylic paints on driftwood, left over pieces of plywood from home projects and just about any wooden surface she could find. Once Robin started to increase in skill, she invested in canvas and her art started to fill the town of Kihei.

For the next few years, Robin’s love for bright colors, the beauty of Hawaii and her LOVE of creating vibrant pieces for people all over the world inspired her to create several originals.

Robins deep passion for old Hawaiian art, the beauty of Hawaii and the bright colors of the ocean, sunsets and natural foliage still remains in her heart. Her art is an expression of that love.

Robin Bones Art can be found all over the world from Canada, Texas, Hawaii, and New Zealand. People from all over love her acrylic paintings.
